It was Monday. Authorities said that a Mexican boy glued his hand to his bed in order not to go back to school after the Christmas. He is 10 years old.
“I thought if I glued my hand to the bed, they couldn’t make me go to school,” the boy, Diego said. “I didn’t want to go to the school. The vacations were so much fun.”
His mother bought very strong glue. He used it to glue his hand to the bed. He stayed in bed for two hours.
His mother Sandra Palacios couldn’t help him. She called police for help. Diego watched cartoons while they worked to help him.
“I don’t know why this happened. He is a very good boy,” said his mother.
Diego finally went to school a few hours late.
