A Chinese submarine(潜艇) is on its way to the Mariana Trench. The Mariana Trench is the deepest place on Earth. It is in the western Pacific Ocean. It is 10,971 metres deep.
The submarine gets to the depth of 10,000 metres. It is an important moment for the people inside. Three men are in the submarine. They want to travel to the bottom of the sea to find out what it is like. But it is not easy. The place is completely dark. No sunlight can get to such depth. The submarine must have very strong lights.
The submarine has robotic hands. Robotic means that something has electronic(电子的) parts. The men control them. They can get stones and other interesting things from the bottom of the ocean.
