Mr. Smith lives in a big city with his wife(妻子) and two children. One morning he takes his new car and washes it when a friend comes. The friend stops and looks at the new car for a minute. Then he asks, “The car is beautiful. Is it yours?”
“Sometimes,” Mr. Smith says.
“Sometimes?” the friend says. “What do you mean?”
“Well, when there is a party in town(城镇), my daughter Tina drives it. When there is a football game, it’s my son David’s turn. When it looks very clean, my wife Jennifer uses it. And when it needs cleaning. It’s mine,” Mr. Smith says.
